Laura Aoki, a distinguished licensed acupuncturist, brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to her practice. With over a decade of experience, Laura holds licensure from the Texas State Board and is nationally board-certified by the NCCAOM. Graduating as Valedictorian from Texas Health and Science University in 2013, Laura has honed her craft in various clinical environments, including notable establishments such as Acupuncture Associates in Round Rock, Achieve Integrated Health, and the Wellness Center at Apple’s Austin Campus. Laura’s journey in holistic healing began as a testament to her deep-seated passion for aiding others. Initially embarking on a path in nursing, her trajectory shifted after being introduced to Eastern medicine through her brother’s transformative journey of healing back pain that was deemed insurmountable. In her 20s Laura’s encounter with acupuncture, overcoming anxiety and depression, was pivotal. She discovered her vocation within the holistic realm, drawn to its comprehensive approach addressing mind, body, and spirit. With a focus on general family practice and specializing in emotional disorders, digestive ailments, chronic pain, women’s health, and fertility, Laura’s expertise lies in unraveling the root causes of ailments, rather than merely alleviating symptoms—a testament to her unwavering commitment to holistic healing. Laura finds profound fulfillment in community-style acupuncture, embracing its inclusive nature and the collective healing energy it fosters. Firmly believing in equitable access to treatment, she champions affordability and accessibility, ensuring that everyone, regardless of income, can benefit from acupuncture’s transformative potential. Outside her professional endeavors, Laura’s pursuits reflect her holistic lifestyle. Crafting homemade herbal tinctures, immersing herself in nature through hiking, gardening, and nurturing her spiritual side with the beauty of rocks and crystals, Laura finds balance in her diverse interests. With a heart devoted to family, she cherishes moments spent with her husband, two children, and two feline companions, embodying the holistic principles she espouses in both her personal and professional life.

Laura is looking forward to meeting you at the clinic!
